FODASA has produced four films to date. All have been directed by award-winning filmmaker Nicholas Markart and produced by Steve Hilfiker.

Steve Hilfiker, a heart transplant survivor and single father of four, describes his experience facing death, and how his perspective on life has forever changed following the heart transplant.

WARRIORS: The Bernie Mac Disease (2023)

25 Minute Short Documentary

Bernie Mac’s widow, Rhonda, takes us on a deeply personal journey through the life and legacy of the beloved comedian and the impact that sarcoidosis had on his rise to fame. Patients from the USA, Germany and Ghana described their fight with this same disease.

Remembering Brantley (2024)

5 Minute Short Documentary

After the tragic loss of fourteen-year-old Brantley Griffin, his surviving family discovers hope through a life-saving new purpose.
